Pangkajene and Islands District or often shorten become Pangkep is one of regencies in South Sulawesi, which stores the diversity of natural and cultural attractions are worth your visit, such as matampa, Kapoposang Island and others. In Pangkep there are also National Park Bantimurung Bulusaraung.

Tourism Regions Mattampa.

Kawasan Wisata Mattampa.

Occupying an area of approximately 11 hectares, this place is a tourist attraction with huge potential and attractive place to visit with the natural landscape such as caves are amazing. Same Lewa there in The Village, District Bungoro approximately 3 km from the city Pangkep.


Kapoposang Island.

Pulau Kapoposang.

Is one of the archipelago Spermonde where this island has a cluster of beautiful coral reefs with diverse marine life saving interesting. Located in the Village Mattiroujung, District Liukang Tupabiring, can be reached by using a speed boat about 90 minutes to the northwest of Makassar.


Bita Sumpang Archeological Park.

Taman Purbakala Sumpang Bita.

Bita Sumpang Archaeological Park is known as the garden with a thousand stairs to reach the cave because we had to go through thousands of steps. Inside the cave you can see relics of prehistoric times seberti hand painting, pigs and a boat which is expected around 5000 years old. Located in The Village Boloci, about 17 km to the east of the city Pangkep.
